The Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies (JCHS) is hosting “The State of Housing Design 2023,” on November 17th between 2pm and 6pm EST (11am – 3pm Pacific), online. You may attend in person too, though you’ve got to register.

What is it about? What architects plan to do about “…the warming climate, the affordability crisis, increasing regulations and construction costs and the demand for new unit types that better reflect today’s demographic realities.” The event will also highlight the release (12/12/23) of the new book, “The State of Housing Design 2023,” by Sam Naylor, Daniel D’Oca, and Chris Herbert; edited by Joint Center for Housing Studies, by Harvard University Press.
