Staff Training & Development
We provide staff training and development for social service providers and persons in the helping profession, through our platform: Social Service Academy, which can be found at socialserviceacademy.com.
The platform offers a three stage, self-paced, online step by step, video training platform condensing over 37 years of experience to assist providers at any level, gain confidence in service provision and managing services. It has been designed specifically to enhance the skill level of persons either new in the field, “seasoned” leaders, middle managers, and teams who are all tasked with changing landscapes and service needs. One on one mentoring, coaching, discussion sessions are available and team members can coordinate their own trainings using the videos, within the platform.
An additional platform, sacredspacesbydesign.com, provides creative-self care for caregivers, people in the helping profession and anyone who might benefit from traditional and non-traditional forms of wellness, through art and incorporates holistic practices. It was designed as a an integration to information we find useful in the helping profession along with wellness techniques for whole person health, incorporting the whole of the caregivers needs through artistic expression and practices.
