We offer information and consulting services for new initiatives, start-ups and ongoing projects to meet needs within the affordable housing industry. We serve as an affordable housing information highway, keeping members of our community updated and informed about new developments and possibilities. We provide staff training and development through our online, self-paced, video enriched training platform, through Social Service Academy, a three phased, 9 step platform, with the 9th step creatively introducing participants to address wellness needs, even with a busy schedule. We believe information with traditional and non-traditional methods of self-care, and healing, especially through the arts, creates more harmony for sustainability. In addition, with vast experience in residential housing, we provide administrative & managerial support when you need it most!
About the Founder
Lolita M. Goldring MA, EdM, obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Business Administration minor, from L.I.U., C.W. Post Campus in May of 1986 and obtained her MA, EdM, in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University in October of 1990 and began work as a Rehabilitation Counselor on an inpatient unit at Metropolitan Hospital which changed the trajectory of her career from educational counseling support services to mental health, housing and additonal support services. Lolita since, managed, directed, supervised, consulted and last within the Affordable Housing industry, was a Deputy Director/Director of Supportive Housing for 349 (growin to 417) units of Affordable, 80/20, Mixed Tenancy, Permanent Supportive Housing, including couples and families. Prior to that, Lolita's experience included directing a multi-tiered program involving Transitional Housing, Street Outreach, and a Drop-In Center, whose successful efforts by her mentors, supervisors and team, were duplicated nationally; was the Brooklyn/Queens Field Supervisor for an Intensive Case Management program, serving chronically homeless women residing in 4 NYC homeless shelters, all towards permanent housing placement; was a Program Director for a Transitional Respite Center and Outreach Program Serving Homeless Men and prior to that Lolita was a Director of Permanent Supportive Housing for a 32 unit residence a Group Facilitator for an Evening Program, where she provided 4 Discussion Groups in 4 residences. As mentioned, Lolita began her career in Education as a Coordinator for an After-School program for children residing in NYC “Welfare Hotels” in 1985 before moving on to becoming the Coordinator of an academic enrichment programs serving disenfranchised High School, where she assisted students gain entery to Engineering schools, and provided oversight for a Mentoring program. She then became the Assistant Director for an HEOP Program serving College Students, who excelled in Math and Science and who were enrolled in the supportive program. Fast forward...Lolita expanded her wings and obtained her Real Estate License in 2012, after service in affordable housing, with City Wide Apartments, (before joining a Boutique Real Estate Firm, see below) and was a Licensed Real Estate Agent with Green Pond Real Estate, LLC, for New York properties in 2016.
Lolita started out as the Receptionist and Admin., and was promoted to becoming the Asset Manager of a multi-million-dollar Boutique Real Estate firm that specialized in modern, sustainable units, for rent and purchase, and provided creative artistic expression through galleries and events held in the Flatiron district of NY in 2015, before creating LMG Solutions, LLC to host a variety of consulting services. These included business development, administrative support, marketing, website development, and life coaching, before moving to California with her husband, to be closer to their Son, Daughter-in-Love & Grandchildren. From, New Jersey to California, before being furloughed due to COVID, Lolita served as the Program Director of Women’s Empowerment, a skill building, life enhancement, educational and enrichment program serving homeless women and their children. Her new trajectory, integrating a myriad of support services was well underway by then. She studied healing through art and became an Art Medicine Graduate: A Certified Life Coach, Certified Shamanic Life Coach, Certified Numerology, Tarot and Orcacle Card Reader, and now working on her Life Art Coaching Certification, enabling her to merge traditional methods of wellness and healing with non-traditional methods of strength and confidence building, enabling her to offer what she has learned and practices for throughout these platforms. LMG Solutions, LLC is the portal for which these platorms can live, and her hope is as always to offer as much as possible to support you in being all that you already are, and can be! At soon to be 60 this year, it is never too late!
