WBUR’s Here & Now program is running a Series, “The Fight to Reduce Homelessness” which focuses on areas across the US that are truly making a difference. Among other positive news, right here in our neck of the woods, Bergen County, was named by HUD as the first County in the US to end chronic homelessness; Chicago is treating homelessness as a Health Issue at a hospital, New Orleans reduced homelessness by 90%. Streamlining, Collaboration, Community and Vision, to name a few, is what it took. Let’s give a hand to Can Do!!
