Oh the innovation! Take a look at what’s else we can do to conserve energy with an additional benefit, -physical exercise! A small town in Maryland, decided to do a bike share this holiday season to power a 300 watt generator and charge cell phones all through bike pedaling. The faster you go, the more light will be emitted. The Artists, Karl Unnasch and John Taylor, (who is also an Engineer), designed the 15 Bike, 35 ft. tree, with embedded solar panels and individual gauges for each bike to see how fast your peddling. Their project is one of 55 types of installations of its’ kind across the US. This as cities throughout are working to conserve energy and enjoy the Holidays with people, animal, plant and planet health in mind.
