New Affordable Housing Lotteries:

Here are the latest Affordable Housing Lottery updates with deadlines ranging from October 4th, to October 30, 2017. Also note, additional Lotteries remain open until units have been filled so please take a look at the additional listings here.

Stone House – October 4th Lottery Application Deadline:

Stone House, located at 91 Junius St., bordering Brownsville and East New York has 64 Affordable Housing units in a new 6 story, 161 unit building. 12 Studios at $670 per month, 41 One Bedrooms at $882 per month, 8 Two Bedrooms, at $1065 per month and 3 Three Bedrooms at $1,225 per month, are available with eligible incomes ranging from $25,303 to $66,420 and based on household size. The building was created by Winn and developed by Urban Architecture Initiatives and offers on site laundry, central air, playgrounds and onsite services for low income, formerly homeless and households with special needs. Rose Hill Apartments – October 6th Wait List Application Deadline:

Rose Hill Apartments located at 2855 Southern Blvd., in the Belmont section of the Bronx, has Studio and One Bedroom Section 8 Apartments available for persons 62+ or persons 18 years old who are physically challenged.  The total maximum eligible income for a studio is $33,400 and maximum eligible income for two persons in a one bedroom, is $38,200. Archer Merrick – October 16th Application Deadline:

Archer Merrick, developed by Archer Merrick, is a 14 Story building  offering 88 Affordable Housing Units at 92-61 165th Street in Jamaica Queens. At 40% of Area Median Income (AMI), 5 Studios are available at $494 per month, 3 One Bedrooms are available at $532 per month, 9 Two Bedrooms are available at $647 per month and 1 Three Bedroom is available at $745 per month.  Eligible incomes for these apartments range from $18,823 to $44,280. At 60% of Area Median Income, 19 Studios at $788 per month are available, 10 One Bedrooms are available at $847 per month, 37 Two Bedrooms are available at $1,025 per month and 4 Three Bedrooms are available at $1,182.  Eligible incomes for 60% of AMI range from $28,903 to $66,420 and based on household size. Crossroads Plaza – October 30th Application Deadline:

Crossroads Plaza located at 828 E. 149th St., in the Mott Haven Section of the Bronx has 163 Affordable Housing Apartments available. Developed by  Douglaston Development, Settlement Housing Fund these apartments are available within 60%, 100%, 110%, and 120% Area Median Incomes as follows: At 60%, 3 Studios, 16 One Bedrooms and 6 Three Bedrooms are available from $788 to $1,182 per month eligible incomes that range from $29,349 to $66,420. At 100% AMI, 3 Studios, 33 One Bedrooms, 33 Two Bedrooms, and 13 Three Bedrooms are available from $958 to $1,683 per month for eligible incomes ranging from $35,178 to $110,700. At 110% AMI, 1 Studio, 10 One Bedrooms, 10 Two Bedrooms and 4 Three Bedrooms are available from $1,085 to $1,902 per month for persons with incomes that range from $39,532 to $121,770 (max allowable incomes related to household size apply – see NYC Housing Connect link below). At 120% AMI, 6 One Bedrooms, 8 Two Bedrooms and 3, Three Bedrooms are available from $1,525 to $2,120 per month for incomes ranging from $54,755 to $132,840 (max allowable incomes related to household size apply – see link below). Ocean Hill III – October 30th Application Deadline:

Ocean Hill III has 107 Affordable Housing Apartments located at 428 Saratoga Avenue, (at Sterling and Saratoga Ave.) within the Prospect Plaza mixed use project, located in Ocean Hill, Brooklyn (a subsection of Bedford Stuyvesant). Offering apartments for 40%, 50% and 60% Area Median Income ranges, monthly rents range from $558 to $1,224 with eligible incomes ranging from $21,600 to $66,420 as follows: AMI 40%, 3 One Bedrooms at $558 with incomes from $21,600 to $30,560. 1 and based on household size. Developers Duvernay + Brooks, Pennrose Properties and Blue Sea Development provided “Exquisitely finished kitchen and bathrooms” as per Housing Connect (see link below), has a live in Super, Laundry rooms, Outdoor Recreation areas, Parking spaces and Energy Efficient Appliances and Fixtures.
